HyperBattleship! 2.1 This is a Board Game Mactivity's CD-ROM nr 10 advice: This application did run on a b/w 68030 processor under System 7.1. It was also tested on a big ColorScreen of a PowerMacintosh running System 7.1.2. The game was also tested on a Quadra with 68040 processor and a 13 inch Color Screen and System 7.1 by Mactivity. The object of the game is to sink all of your opponent's ships before s/he sinks yours. Two players take turns clicking on a map corresponding to the opponent's game grid. Sound effects, animation, and a visual marker let you know whether you've scored a hit. HyperBattleship is composed of two cards-the title card and the game card. The game card is made up of two screens, with your game grid on top and a likeness of your opponent's game grid below. You can scroll between screens using the up and down arrow keys or by clicking arrow buttons on the card. You place your ships on the game grid on the upper screen and, after the game begins, you check this screen to see the condition of your ships. (You'll learn how to do this later, in the section called "Setting Up the Play Area.") You go to the lower screen to bomb your opponent's fleet. Back to the Computer Games Index
